Some of the stories of the children's survival are inspiring & amazing.
One little girl who was about 4, had 3 younger brothers - 1 was just an infant. Apparently her mother was very abusive &
usually gone drinking...
This little angel had the 'smarts' to go beg in the streets to get money to buy
food & formula or milk for her little brothers.
Ultimately they joined Love & Hope Children's Home and are all happy heathy
survivors. |

The last night Nick, Mike, Lauren & Cody were in El Salvador, about 20 of the
older kids were treated to Pizza Hut, which was a blast for
everyone. Below are 2 pictures that are priceless & deserve a little
narration. Gordo is only about 2 yrs. old. Pizza Hut had hats for every kid &
sheets of stickers for some game. Gordo decided to add to his ensamble by
putting on someones sunglasses. Next Gordo began putting the sickers on his
face.
I hear Bjorn helped him with the last few. Who cannot smile when you look at
this!
